VICTOR GARRIDO
7th Dan.
Born in Caracas January 9, 1962. At age 13 he began his karate training. Then continued his training with (8th Dan) Sensei Marcelo Planchart, from whom he obtained his 1st Dan Black Belt in the year 1983. In 1989 Sensei Garrido become a member of the International Shotokai Karate-Do Federation, with a (8th Dan) Master Toyotaro Miyazaki and founded the Shotokai Karate Do Venezuelan Association, becoming President and representative for Venezuela and the Caribbean. Sensei Victor Garrido as an athlete competitor he participated in several international championships stand out, where he has obtained more than 400 victories in Kata and Kumite.He is holding now the title of International Director of the ISF and in 2017 received from the hand of Master Miyasaki the 7th Dan Degree by the ISF.

SHIHAN
KAI LEUNG
7th Dan.
Born in Hong Kong March 20th, 1958. Started training in the martial arts in 1964, obtained his black belt in 1967, and began formally teaching in the early 70's. Master Instructor of the Shotojuku, is a founding member of the International Shotokai Karate-do Federation. He continues to produce some of the country's most outstanding students, many of whom have gone on to become National and international champions, karate teachers and self defense instructors. His commitment as an instructor has brought him to teach at a number of colleges, including the karate instructor's certificate program at (L.I.U.) Long Island University. He has taught at L.I.U. for more then fifteen years, during which time generation of karate instructors were exposed to his unique gift as a teacher and experience practitioner of martial arts.
